Zesty Mango Avo Guacamole with Hardbite Chips

If you are anything like us, you probably love including health foods into your diet. If you're anything like us, too, you probably love yourself a crunchy, satisfying snack.

So how about combining both?

Today we are highlighting our latest snack obsession - Hardbite Handcrafted Style Chips. We particularly love them because they are cooked in small batches of avocado oil - making them bolder in taste and lighter in texture. Free from trans fats and gluten, these crunchy marvels have quickly become one of our families' go-to snacks.

What do you pair something as crunchy and flavourful with? The options are limitless, but today we are sharing with you one of our favourite dips - which also includes, naturally, avocados.

10-MINUTE MANGO AVO GUAC

We have been making this recipe for years - as a perfect dip for Mexican-themed dinners or to compliment our favourite crunchy snacks. We need this guac recipe to be relatively smooth so it can work well with our Hardbite chips - although of course, it will include some small mango chunks for texture. We are omitting jalapenos or spicy sauce as our kids also enjoy this recipe.

Here is the list of ingredients you'll need:

- 3 Ripe Avocados

- 1 Mango Diced very small

- 1/4 Chopped red onions

- 8 cocktail tomatoes chopped small

- juice from 1/2 lemon

- 1/2 tsp coarse salt

- 1 tsp minced garlic

- Chopped cilantro and pepper (optional)

Method:

1. Peel and mash avocados until you achieve a smooth texture

2. In a medium bowl incorporate chopped mango, red onions and cocktail tomatoes

3. Mix in lemon juice (for zest and to reduce oxidation), salt and garlic

4. Optional: add cilantro and dash of pepper

We hope you love our Mango Avo Guacamole as much as we do! This blog post is sponsored by Hardbite Chips! You can find these chips at most Loblaws locations and independent natural grocers - and for more about their delicious flavour selection, visit www.hardbitechips.com.
